English Two days spent in the heart of Lika, surrounded by beautiful landscapes, early morning outings, and evening waits, searching for the roe deer buck we had been looking for the entire time. We had a total of 4 outings in the field and saw several roe bucks, but not the right one we had hoped for. This time there was no harvest, but trips like these truly show what hunting is all about. Hunting is not just the moment of the shot. Hunting is early wake-ups, the scent of the forest, the silence of nature, observing wildlife, and every moment spent outdoors. Even more important than the harvest itself are the people you meet along the way, the conversations, experiences, and memories that remain long after returning home. Lika once again showed its beauty and wilderness, and even without a harvest, we return home richer for a great experience and memories worth more than any trophy.
