Batley Baths Abandoned Places UK
The Batley Baths and washrooms Was opened on the 9th September, 1893. The cost of the Baths to build including all equipment inside was £9,000. After being gutted by fire the swimming baths was restored by the Leisure Services Directorate of Kirklees Metropolitan Council and re-opened on Saturday 25 April 1981 In November 2022 it was announced it would finally close for good due to rising energy costs
