The Lord's Supper | 1 Corinthians - Lesson 26
While First Corinthians chapter 11v17-34 instructs the church in the observance of the Lord’s supper as a memorial of Christ’s death for the sins of all men, the underlying premise of the passage deals more specifically with the destructive attitudes of those church members who had forgotten their commonality with all the other members of the church, i.e., their mutual communion in Christ. This resulted in heresies, divisions, and wrong attitudes towards one another being perpetuated in the church. THE BIBLE Baptist Church of DeLand, Florida Pastor James W.
