1940-1941, De gré ou de force ! Temps 2 : L'expulsion des Mosellans

In Moselle, starting in the summer of 1940, the ordeal of expulsion followed the ordeal of the evacuation of Moselle residents in September 1939 and May 1940. Those expelled were driven out by a vengeful occupier. The Nazis, fueled by a hateful, racist, and anti-Semitic doctrine, rid themselves of all those who could no longer find their place in the imposed new political order. Archives, testimonies, and historians' perspectives support this narrative. A film by Bruno Cohen with a magnificent team: Vincent Ferey, director of photography; Ronan Posnic, editor; Marc Mamane, sound. Produced by Sim & Sam © 2010. Commissioned by the Moselle Departmental Council on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the commemoration of these expulsions.
