TOP DOLOMITES ULTRA: Un viaggio pazzesco nel cuore del Brenta

We're back in Madonna di Campiglio for the race report of the Top Dolomites Ultra 3TRE! A crazy journey through the Brenta Dolomites along a modified route of approximately 61 km and 3,200 meters of elevation gain. We set off at 6:00 a.m., immediately tackling a first vertical climb of 900 meters in the first 6 kilometers. The unstable weather accompanied us through mud and rain until the real nail in the coffin of the day: the wall of the legendary 3TRE ski slope at kilometer 40, with brutal gradients reaching 23% straight down. Despite a diaphragm blockage that made it difficult to manage our breath on the climb, we gritted our teeth and completed our goals perfectly, crossing the finish line in 9 hours and 20 minutes.
