My Camera Setup Then vs Now | My Roaring 20s

FYI THIS IS NOT A REAL PRODUCT I started making videos on my phone and was too embarrassed to tell anyone. No fancy camera, no real setup — just a phone, a cheap lav mic, and a mini tripod I was afraid to pull out in public. But those videos still got made. And somehow they still got watched. In this video, I walk through everything I used to build my channel from nothing — the gear that actually mattered, the stuff that didn't, and how each piece changed the way I showed up on camera. I also got the opportunity this semester to collaborate with Shure to design the MV-C5, an audio device built specifically for day-in-the-life content creators like me — solving every problem I had when I started in one product. If you're waiting for the perfect setup to start creating — this video is for you. If you’re new to the channel: welcome ~ I’m Nick, a junior at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign studying industrial design. I make new videos Friday about college, the fun things I do, vlogs, and whatever else is on my mind. Thanks so much for watching :) instagram:   / nicks_vids   tiktok:   / nicktam8   epidemic sounds referral code: https://share.epidemicsound.com/vsinme I Was Embarrassed of My Camera Setup Yet It Still Worked | My Roaring 20s I Was Embarrassed of My Camera Setup Yet It Still Worked | My Roaring 20sI Was Embarrassed of My Camera Setup Yet It Still Worked | My Roaring 20s #shure #contentcreator #nickatn8pm
