Ca’macana is the company employed to make masks for popular movies when they need Venician masks. Making a mask with them is a good activity to get some in-depth learning for a relaxing afternoon. Not only can you view beautiful art in Italy, you can make your own art as well. They gave the option of either getting a history lesson from the painting instructor or taking a copy of their book that covers the history of mask making to take home. Then the instructor guided us on how to make the mask. Sometimes you need to go deep in your learning and try things for yourself instead of learning more broadly. That gives you a deeper understanding of the content.
