Bloom is created using paint thinned with Owatrol Floetrol, then with a product called a cell activator. When applied to the colored paints, blowing on them will cause cells to bloom. Prepare the products precisely using a scale: Recipe for the special bloom cell activator: 1 part paint, 3 parts varnish glue, 1 part water Recipe for colored paints: 1 part acrylic paint, 2 parts Floetrol, 1/2 part water Bloom is created in 3 layers: first layer, the pillow (or base coat); second layer, the colored paints; third layer, the cell activator. Then, blow on the cell activator while pushing the paints; the cell effect appears immediately, followed by more a minute later. The canvas can be rotated on a turntable to enlarge the painting, creating a magnificent effect.
