2025 - Riding the Himalayas

On July 2025 I joined the "Ride the Himalayas" tour to the areas of Spiti Valley and Indian Himalayas. The ride covered around 1700 Km in the regions of Himachal Pradesh, Spiti Valley, and Ladakh, the Manali-Leh road. Riding this area was a completely new experience to me, both regarding off-road riding (I am not an off-road rider) and riding in a place that is completely different of all I have ever known. I called it "14 days of meditation on two wheels". The size of everything around you definitely makes you understand your size on this world. Physically, it was a difficult experience, riding 60% of the way off-road or in badly maintained roads, when I am not an off-road rider. Mentally, it was one of the best periods I have ever been in. Yes, it is for the strong in spirit, but if you can overcome the physical difficulties, I definitely recommend it. Just Google "Ride the Himalayas".
