Huge Electrical Upgrade | Installing sPOD - Bantam X, Blue Sea Systems - Safety Hub 150 & PowerTray

After saying just one last electronic we are landing on the battery we decided it was FINALLY time to get an electronics manager! We spent an entire weekend finally cleaning up our electrical situation in Loki! Join us for this in-depth installation of our ultimate power management setup. To start we decided to utilize a PowerTray for our mounting platform of the sPOD BantamX. We chose to pair our BantamX with a touchscreen interface inside the vehicle for easy switching from inside the cab and using the sPOD app. We also decided enough was enough with the in-line fuses cluttering up the engine bay for our larger powered electronics and added the Blue Sea SafetyHub 150, this allows us to hard wire these bigger electronics that do not require switching and put all the fuses in a weather tight area which we were able to mount right next to the sPOD on the PowerTray. During the installation process we go through the management of our existing electronics, details about the setup and why we chose to do it this way as well as how simple it is to install new electronics. We wanted this video to help demonstrate how much simpler it is to install new devices with an electronics manager already in place vs having to rework currently installed electronics like we did in order to install the electronics manager after the fact. During the cleanup process we did some additional wire management and added some extra protection for our larger devices, our power bank charger and ARB twin air compressor.
