【「勝って立つ」と名乗る台湾土着の生活雑貨店へ】台湾、暮らしの珍道中#54
We went to our all-purpose store, a place we rely on heavily in our daily lives. Its name is "Shen Li Sheng Huo Bai Huo" (勝立生活百貨), meaning "to win and stand." It's a localized store that takes the ease of browsing from a Japanese home improvement center. It's a small three-story building and stays open late into the night. It's a store that we, as aunties, can't do without, as it immediately responds to the unreasonable requests from our children's school. All kinds of household goods, good and bad, are crammed together, and you can also enjoy searching for strange Japanese phrases. What is this used for? What exactly were they trying to say with the Japanese on the package? Go there with 80% of your purpose in enjoying these kinds of speculations. It's a treasure trove for those with a keen eye. ✍️The day before returning home from a trip to Taiwan, I was troubled by having too many things! It's also a place I rush to buy a big, cheap bag. ✍️There are lots of things that tourists don't care about! But that's part of the fun. ✍️A rare find these days? Shocking pink plastic spoons are available here. ✅The mystery of the large-bladed toothbrushes favored by Taiwanese people. ✅The story of stainless steel product grades. 316 is the highest grade. ✅A teapot for those who have given up even lifting a teapot. ✅A leak-proof sealing stick. The Japanese on the package says "Kusakusa" (stinky) stick. ✅The pink striped plastic bags are sized by weight: 1 jin (1 jin) and 2 jin (2 jin). And they're not sold by the number of bags. They're sold by weight. Does that make sense? 📍Shengli Lifestyle Department Store No. 291, Section 2, Fuxing South Road, Da'an District, Taipei City Tel: 0227011195 Opening Hours: 9:00 AM - 11:30 PM, Open Year-Round https://maps.app.goo.gl/3UCggBjH4PtcK...
