Beach Shack Kitchen Glow-up

What if we told you this isn't a new kitchen? Seriously. When you see the before and after, you'll swear we ripped everything out and started from scratch. But here's the thing: the existing kitchen was actually in great condition. The layout worked, and much of the cabinetry was solid, so replacing the entire kitchen would have created a lot of unnecessary waste. So we set ourselves a not-so-little challenge to see just how much impact we could create with thoughtful design, clever updates and the power of paint. In this transformation, we're renovating the kitchen of our very own Head of Construction, Lisa. Her beautiful beachside home on the Central Coast already had great bones, but the dark, dated kitchen didn’t reflect the calm, breezy feeling she wanted for the space. To make room for an integrated French-door fridge, we added some new custom cabinetry, then refreshed the existing lower cabinetry to match using the Dulux Renovation Range. We also removed a wall to improve flow and layered in beautiful details that make the whole space feel lighter, brighter and more connected to nature. Sometimes the smartest renovation isn't starting over. It's knowing what to keep, what to change, and how to bring it all together beautifully. We can't wait to show you what's possible.
