I'm unpacking and assembling the Engwe L20 cargo bike, an all-terrain, low-step cargo bike. I'll show you the individual steps and where it took me a little longer. I ordered it myself via mail order. The first delivery attempt unfortunately didn't work – but it did on the second attempt. I use the bike for shopping and exploring the area. The front basket is included. I fitted the luggage rack with a base plate and permanently installed a Eurobox. This means the contents of a small shopping cart fit inside – really practical. The bike is available in four colors. The 7-speed gearshift was already perfectly adjusted. The bike is very robust and stable. The customer service was accommodating and very friendly. After assembly, I completely coated the bike with clear varnish to prevent rust, especially when riding by the sea. Sea salt tends to corrode metal. However, the payload is quite high. The folding version, the L20 SE, is lighter and foldable, but has a lower payload. I recommend tightening all (!) screws before your first ride. In my case, the screw on the kickstand cover came loose and got lost.
