The Myers Update is a Clunky Sidegrade
These are my mostly organized thoughts on the recent rework to Michael Myers' kit in Dead by Daylight. In short, I think that the changes to the iconic Killer from the Halloween franchise make him a lot stronger, but there are so many roadblocks that impede his ability to become threatening. Realistically speaking, when we saw that a Myers rework was on its way, we had hoped that the new version would feel like a definitive upgrade, but my comparison should hopefully point out how I feel about Myers prior to and after the rework, and how it really feels like a clunky sidegrade after everything is said and done.
