Sardines and mackerel are also among the top fish. *Is pangasius healthy?* Pangasius is a decent source of protein, but it contains almost no omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, or vitamin A. It is the only fish discussed to contain more sodium than potassium, and a frozen fillet can be 40% water. A healthier and comparatively inexpensive alternative is mackerel. *How much tuna can you eat per week?* For a healthy adult, a few cans per week is considered safe—but not daily for long periods.
