The fruit is similar to cypress in color and the bark is a strong gray reddish brown. Chamaecyparis genus (Chamaecyparis) Cupernia cerevisiae (Chamaecyparis obtusa): It is characterized by distinct Y-shaped white stomata on the back of the leaves and round, smooth cones. It is popular because of its high phytoncide content. Chamaecyparis pisifera: Similar to cypress, but the tips of the leaves are pointed and the stomata on the back of the leaves are W-shaped. There are various cultivars for gardening. Cupressus macrocarpa 'Goldcrest Wilma': Although cypress in the narrow sense is not a cypress, the tree commonly called yulma belongs to the genus Cupressus in the family Cupressaceae. It is characterized by its dark green leaves and refreshing fragrance, and is often grown as an indoor plant. Siberian Cypress (Cryptomeria japonica): The leaves are long and densely attached in the shape of needles, and the bark is split vertically.
