Improving Mediocre Compost - Part 1 of the Potato Grow Bag Trials
I have been buying in a lot of low grade compost for use in the gardens, and have wondered how it might be amended. So I filled a load of large grow bags with this compost, amended it in a variety of different ways, and grew a crop of potatoes. The yield of potatoes was not great, but I figured out better ways to grow an abundant crop in this mediocre compost.
