I wanted to be able to truly learn something new, because it's not often you get to discover a profession from scratch, and I think that's a wonderful thing. The dental office has always been a place that made me anxious; in fact, teeth are the thing that makes me most sensitive, so for me it was far removed from anything I'd ever done. It was an incredible experience, and I feel lucky to have had it.
