After 52 years living in São Paulo, we decided to completely change our lives to fulfill a dream we'd carried for over 37 years: to build a farm from scratch with our own hands. A few days ago we showed the construction of the world's cheapest cabin, which we built to get out of renting while our main house is being built. Now a new chapter of this story begins. In this video, we retrieve the scaffolding, restart the construction of the ecological brick house, show the progress of our dog Spaique's little house made of shade cloth, iron, and cement, prepare homemade lard, take a walk around the farm, show the orchard, the river, the vegetable garden, and share a little more of our simple routine in the countryside. Each wall raised represents a dream that is coming to life. We are not professional builders. We are just a couple who decided to start over from scratch and show each achievement, each difficulty, and each stage of this journey.
