Twin Turbo LSX Chevelle - Starting the Final Assembly! - 1000hp Chevy Chevelle Ep 18

The twin turbo, LSX swapped, 1000 horsepower Chevelle is finally back on the channel! We took a quick detour from working on this boosted Chevy to work on our bagged LS3 C10 and the 7.3L Godzilla swapped Continental. We didn't just get sidetracked from this project though. We were waiting on a whole ton of parts and fittings to come in, as well as our upholstery work to come back to us from our friends at E3. But now that we've been making progress on the Chevelle, we can finally show you what we've been up to! We're kicking off the reassembly by focusing on the engine bay. We're bolting on our Holley dual plenum intake and installing all of our fuel components; like our fuel injectors and Aeromotive regulators. We're also getting the custom headers mounted back on the motor, along with our two massive Garret turbos. With the engine bay taking shape, we can start routing all the wiring. There's a ton of wires that need to be hooked up to our Haltech R5 VCU, but luckily we have Andrew the wiring master in the shop that makes untangling all that multicolored spaghetti look easy! Once Andrew has most of the electrical sorted out we can lay down our Restomod sound deadening membrane, put in our newly upholstered custom center console, and get our leather wrapped back seats installed. The twin turbo Chevelle is finally starting to look whole again and is closer than ever to hitting the road! Next week we're going to be fabricating our custom exhaust.
