TCS New York City Marathon - 50th Running

Here's the entire NYC Marathon in about an hour. OK - it took me nearly six hours, but I FINISHED! Not bad for a legally blind/visually impaired runner. It also took two year's of training because of the Pandemic just to get to the Start Line. 2021 marked the 50th Running of the TCS New York City Marathon ~ after a year long delay due to Covid19. The field was much smaller than normal .. at about 25,000 runners. We finished with the likes of Shalane Flanagan, Willie Geist, Chelsea Clinton, Tiki Barber, Marcus Mumford and Christy Turlington (burns) ... just to name a few famous friends. LOL They all finished way ahead of my 5 hour and 52 minute finish... after a dozen bathroom stops , multiple leg cramp episodes and lots of walking. You can see it all for yourself. This race lived up to the hype with all of the energy and emotion along the streets of New York City. The 26.2 mile course reaches into all five boroughs. I used Garmin data and Google Earth Studio to create the 3d borough intro maps. For this video: I used, both, the Insta360 ONe X2 and the GoPro Hero 10 Blck.
