🌒🧠 Mujeres científicas II | Joan Vilaltella
Some female scientists are easily overlooked because they lack a prominent contribution, because their main work lies in fields adjacent to science, or because their contribution, however important, is too abstract for a general audience. Based on these situations, we will discuss Elizabeth of Bohemia, Emmy Noether, and Grete Hermann, although the main focus will be on an experimental physicist who does have at least one significant contribution: Chien-Shiung Wu, who conducted a crucial experiment for understanding the importance of symmetry, or asymmetry, in our Universe.
