YXZ1000R - Remove your manual timing chain tensioner now & put the OEM one back in with this tip!
Don't believe the hype. Manual tensioners are not the way to go. We see so many broken timing chains and blown engines caused by the timing chain tension being too tight. Save yourself some money and just keep the OEM tensioner, but make sure to set it on the first groove!
