MEETING THE LOCALS of BADUY | JAVA, INDONESIA 🇮🇩

In this video, we visited the well known people of Baduy who live in the Banten province of Java, Indonesia. The Baduy people have become well known for their traditional customs and strict set of rules that restrict the use of modern technologies. These rules include no electricity or electronic devices, no footwear, and only being permitted to wear black and white. We were incredibly lucky to be invited to spend the evening in a local families home and we had plenty of time to the explore Baduy Luar, the outside area. Many travelers and vloggers visit Baduy, but we did our best to capture our interactions with the local people and place the focus of this video on them. We hope you enjoy the video!
