Cachalia FALLS APART Under BRUTAL Grilling by MPs

Acting Police Minister Firoz Cachalia tabled a R127 billion police budget in Parliament while MPs from the EFF, MK Party and DA lined up at the podium to demand his resignation and accuse him of protecting President Cyril Ramaphosa from an impeachment inquiry into the Phala Phala farm cash scandal. MK Party MP Musa Manyi told Parliament directly that the declassified IPID report into Ramaphosa's Presidential Protection Unit functioned as a "get out of jail free card for number one," while DA MP Ian Cameron revealed that a senior SAPS supply chain general linked to corruption by the Special Investigating Unit in 2021 was only suspended five years later under pressure from Cachalia's own office. Cachalia — who days earlier publicly declared that the ANC and its GNU partners must protect Ramaphosa from the newly established Section 89 impeachment committee — closed the debate without answering a single substantive charge laid against him from the floor.
