To mark the centenary of his birth on November 7, 1913, Joël Calmettes, already the director of two films about the Nobel Prize winner – The Tragedy of Happiness (with Jean Daniel) and Committed Journalism – travels the world to meet readers of all ages and backgrounds who have been deeply affected by his work. The result is remarkable: in Living with Camus*, a Canadian floor layer, an Algerian pastry apprentice, a French police officer, a German aid worker, and a former American death row inmate rub shoulders...
