I DIYed a huge 2.6m desk to fit the room I renovated myself! I never expected its size would cause me so many difficulties... After setting up the desk, I arranged the furniture to make it easier to imagine how to use it. Since the wood texture is quite strong overall, I coordinated it with a black chair to not interfere with the atmosphere and to tighten it up. Also, I previously DIYed under-shelf lighting to provide light for my hands when working, so I think it has made the space more user-friendly. The overhead lighting provides ample light for my hands. 2) The back area can be used to place drinks or operate a DVD recorder while sitting on the sofa.
