With the abolition of slavery, the farm was sold to Luiz Dias, a well-known merchant from Itajubá. Today, the farm belongs to Tatiana G. Gomes, Renato G. Gomes, and Gustavo G. Gomes, children of the late Maria Elisabeth Brum Gomes and Antônio Augusto Ferreira Gomes. They allow visitors to visit the farm, which maintains its 19th-century and slavery-era structures and features intact. It maintains its slave quarters, mills, and bathrooms as they were in the past. The farm's tourism focuses on historical, cultural, and educational tourism, as well as mystical tourism, which developed with the existing demand, as the slave religions held a significant influence in the region.
