Exploring Solo in the Selkirks - Beyond the Lions Head Natural Waterslides
This was a solo exploration within the heart of the Selkirks Mountains of North Idaho. My hike began along the trail to the popular natural waterslides in the Lion Head valley. From there, the goal was to explore a route to the top of Temple Mountain, a seldom visited destination. Along the way, I faced ice-cold stream crossings, voracious mosquitoes, steep and complex terrain, and brutal bushwhacking. Watch the video to see how far I got!
