Lakehouse Accelerator - Wisconsin Databricks User Group

Our Wisconsin Databricks User Group held an event on May 19th, featuring a session on the Databricks Lakehouse Accelerator, a reusable framework designed to rapidly deploy and standardize secure, scalable Databricks Lakehouse environments using Terraform, Unity Catalog, and medallion architecture best practices. The presentation showcased a modular Secure Reference Architecture (SRA) featuring networking, private endpoints, RBAC, Azure Key Vault integration, and enterprise deployment automation. We also demonstrated how the accelerator enables parameterized data ingestion and scalable Bronze, Silver, and Gold pipelines for BI, analytics, and ML workloads. Attendees gained insight into real-world deployment challenges, governance strategies, and lessons learned while implementing secure Databricks environments.
