Chiamato anche “borgo rotondo” per la pianta del centro storico risalente al periodo medievale, San Giovanni in Persiceto è un borgo della Pianura bolognese caratterizzato da vie colorate che conducono alla Piazzetta Betlemme. Particolare ed interessante è visitare il borgo durante il Carnevale storico persicetano, uno dei carnevali più antichi dell’Emilia-Romagna, nato a fine Ottocento e famoso per la tradizione degli ‘’spilli’’.
