#TodaysGospel #CatholicMass #WordOfGod #DailyReflection #MannaFromTheWord π TODAY'S GOSPEL READING β Tuesday, June 16, 2026 π Tuesday of the Eleventh Week in Ordinary Time | Liturgical color: green βββββββββββββββββββββββ π TODAY'S READINGS First Reading: 1 Kings 21:17-29 Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 51:1-4 Gospel: Matthew 5:43-48 βββββββββββββββββββββββ β¨ Jesus just told His disciples something radical: love your enemies. Pray for those who persecute you. Not someday. Now. The disciples' faces show the weight of itβbecause this cuts against everything we naturally want to do. But here's what changes everything: Jesus isn't asking us to do this alone. He's inviting us into His Father's loveβa love so boundless it rains on the just and unjust alike. So the real question is: are we willing to let God's grace transform our hearts that deeply? Stay with us. We are on the hillside with Jesus. His voice cuts through the hot air. He looks directly into our eyes and says something that breaks us: love your enemies. Love those who hate you. Pray for those who persecute you. We see the faces of the disciples β some frown, others breathe deeply. Because today we face that same question: can we love as God loves, without conditions, without enemies? βββββββββββββββββββββββ π Subscribe to Manna from the Word and receive the Daily Gospel every morning with complete liturgy and reflection: π Β Β Β /Β @mannafromthewordΒ Β βββββββββββββββββββββββ βοΈ Fair Use Disclaimer This video may contain copyrighted material (Sacred Scripture under USCCB permissions) used under the principles of fair use for religious, educational, and inspirational purposes.
