Loop on Ground (LOG) antenna demo and rant
Testing showed 160-10 all performed well with the LoG, 15 seems to perform better on the DXcc (commander classic), this may be that the 15m element is a 3rd order on the 40m element granting better gain. 10 and 12 performance seem to depend on the cause of noise, if it's local noise the LoG performs better, if it's atmospheric the DXcc performs slightly better. For information my setup is: DXcc with 10, 12, 17, 20, 30, 40, and 80m (inv L) elements on it. LoG 1:11 70~ft 2x12awg 130~ft remote tuned EFHW at 7m 40-10+80 EFHW at 7m Kenwood TS590s
