Received the Special Jury Prize at the 2005 Gibson Jazz Guitar Contest. Released his first album, "Fuzzy Logic," in 2007. In 2014, he made his debut at the Tokyo Jazz Festival with the Daisuke Kunida Trio. Shortly after, he released his second album, "In My Life," featuring world-renowned pianists Hiromi Uehara, Alex Machacek, and Steve Hunt. This album received rave reviews from J.W. Black (current CEO of J.W. Black Guitar/former Fender Senior Master Builder), who provided him with a guitar as a monitor, making him the first Japanese artist to do so. His second album became a top-seller on Abstractlogix.com, the world's number one jazz fusion website, and received acclaim from around the world. He also teaches at ESP Entertainment Tokyo and at music universities in Taiwan, China, Korea, and other parts of Asia as a guitar instructor. In October 2019, he released his third solo album, "abstract/pop." In recent years, he has also participated in numerous game and anime music recordings, including some of Japan's most iconic titles, such as "Super Smash Bros.
