That's fine by me; I feel good outside all year round. I grabbed my bag, threw in some potatoes, some sausages, a little milk and cream, and a clove of garlic. The idea was to cook a gratin dauphinois over a wood fire. In the rain, I walked to a private wood outside the Chartreuse National Park and set up my tarp and hammock, then chopped some wood for a small campfire. When I left in the evening, it was raining again. It's safe to say it wasn't a dry day!
