FERNS, BRYSON, SWANSON SIZZLE in Rollie Beale Classic at Toledo

It turned out to be a big day at my hometrack Toledo Speedway where the USAC Silver Crown Series lit it up for the annual Rollie Beale Classic...where great stories and great racing ruled the day. Join me, the History Mystery Man, for a paved short-track adventure at Toledo and a unique look at the slick and sleek Silver Crown cars. With a focus on Taylor Ferns and her spotter Tracy Hines, you'll also hear from Kaylee Bryson, Kody Swanson, Bobby Santos, Dakoda Armstrong, and the father-and-son team of Louis Meyer III and Louis Michael Meyer IV. I even got to take a push-truck ride in a beautiful performance-built convertible Jeep, which makes its home in Toledo since before WWII. As always, Toledo native and 1973 USAC Sprint Car Champion Rollie Beale was celebrated throughout.
