How I Plan Our Homeschool Year | Teacher Binder Flip Through + Weekly Schedules for Prekindergarten & 2nd Grade (2026-2027) In today's video I'm sharing how I prepare our homeschool year before we ever open our curriculum. I'll walk you through the weekly schedules I created for both our prekindergartener and 2nd grader, along with a flip through of our homeschool teacher binder. Inside my binder you'll find monthly printable worksheets, unit studies, subject outlines, supplemental activities, and planning pages that help make our homeschool as "open and go" as possible throughout the year. One thing I want to mention is that this planning system didn't happen overnight. It has taken several years of homeschooling, plenty of trial and error, and learning what works best for our family. I personally wouldn't recommend planning an entire year right away if you're just getting started. As you gain experience, you'll naturally discover what your homeschool needs are and build a planning system that works for you.
