OKHUOROMO -TIPPER DRIVERS CLASH: Ohen of Okhuoromi community Clears Air over allegations

More Facts have emerged regarding the media Reports that the Ohen of Okhuoromi Community, High Priest Ovbokhan Igbinovia allegedly sold a Parcel of land belonging to the Chairman, Edo State Tipper Drivers Association to another person The actual owner of the land Mr. Eddy Ehiosun who was at Ohen's palace said he bought the land from a neighbouring community before the land was ceded to Okhouromi. Elders of Okhuoromi Community gathered to find a lasting solution to the negative reports about the community. The Assembly was at the instance of the Ohen of the community high priest Ovbokhan Igbinovia and the Odionwere of the community pa John Oghagbon following the invitation of aggrieved developers. One of the Land Developers who is also a member of Tippers Drivers Union said he never had any transaction with the Ohen of Okhuoromi community and that the land in dispute was bought from a neighboring community before the land was ceded to Okhuoromi community. He said even when he was asked to re-negotiate with Okhuoromi community, it was through a third party and not Ohen and maintained that it was in the meeting he discovered the true position of the property. Earlier the Ohen of Okhuoromi community briefed the delegation from Tippers Drivers Union that his community will continue to abide with existing laws of the land and frowned at negative reports about the Area He told the visitors to inform their Chairman of the true position of the land which he is claiming to be his own.
