Astroprint vs Octoprint Video

In this video, I compare my experiences with Astroprint and Octoprint. Both solutions support printing directly from a computer to any 3d printer with a USB port. At first, the solutions seem similar however my experiences with the two solutions have been very different. Based on the website, Astroprint seems to be focused on working with manufacturers to embed their solution into printers and selling their cloud products vs direct support of the public. While this may be a good strategy for Astroprint it may not promote the growth of a community as effectively as a direct to consumer model. I currently use Octoprint on my Prusa i3 MK3 and my Monoprice Select Mini and will be producing a video covering the installation of Octoprint on my Ender 5.
