The band's key members included Gary Puckett as the lead vocalist, Gary 'Mutha' Withem on keyboards, Dwight Bement on the bass guitar, Kerry Chater on the bass guitar and saxophone, and Paul Wheatbread on the drums. The band's distinctive sound fused pop, rock, and elements of baroque music, creating a unique musical blend.
