A normal drum should rotate along with the body when the wheel is turned, but on this vehicle, the drum body and the assembly point were broken so cleanly into a perfect circle that even when the brakes were applied tightly, only the body remained stationary while the wheel continued to spin—a critical condition. In other words, it was a ticking time bomb that wouldn't work at all. I urgently informed the customer that the drum was completely broken, but since he wasn't familiar with the undercarriage structure of large vehicles, he didn't fully understand what I meant even after seeing it with his own eyes. Therefore, to ensure his clear understanding and safety, I removed the wheels from the 2-axle that had already been installed to vividly compare the difference between a normal drum and a broken one right before his eyes. Only then did the owner realize the seriousness of the situation and nod in agreement. I earnestly urged him to go to a repair shop immediately and have the parts replaced, but he asked, "But isn't there no problem with driving right now?"
