Read on C. S. Lewis - ep395 : 1934 Letters and Literary Career (Part 1)

In this episode the year is 1934 and Lewis is 35 years old. He is a Fellow of Magdelan College serving as Tutor in English Language and Literature. Lewis is a published author at this point and a Christian, delivering his first work of prose fiction (with some poetry sprinkled in) "The Pilgrim's Regress" in June of 1933. In it, Lewis tells of his spiritual journey from " ‘popular realism’ to Philosophical Idealism; from Idealism to Pantheism; from Pantheism to Theism; and from Theism to Christianity" in an allegorical fairy tale that Lewis admitted later, was not very good allegory.
