The Infinite Supermarket of Art: From Hamilton to Damien Hirst

Can art exist outside the canvas? In 1956, Richard Hamilton’s iconic collage questioned the sanctuary of the modern home. Decades later, Andy Warhol declared a "Coca-Cola Democracy," and Damien Hirst pulled art out of galleries to pour it directly into commercial medicine cabinets, alcohol bottles, and restaurants. "The Infinite Supermarket of Art" is a 4-minute visual and auditory journey exploring the endless loop of capitalism, mass production, and contemporary art. From Hamilton’s post-war consumerism to Hirst’s sterile, medicalized aesthetics and Duane Hanson’s eternal shopping cart, this video art piece captures the cycle of a society that buys, consumes, and discards in infinite loops. Produced and Curated by Scott Bonnard Sound Generated by VEO / Jeff-3.0 [Aisle eleven empty] All visual sequences and soundscapes are masterfully crafted to reflect the cold, mechanical precision of the capitalist market.
