Canal Fulton, Ohio
Canal Fulton is a city in Stark County, Ohio. It was the first settlement West of the Tuscarawas River in Stark County. Canal Fulton is nestled in the Northwest corner of Stark County among the Ohio and Erie Canals and Tuscarawas River. It has two waterways running through it's downtown. The historic town of Canal Fulton has an extensive number of homes and buildings listed on the National Historic Register. The Old Pioneer Cemetery has many of the first settlers buried here, as far back as 1808. The tombstones are carved from solid rock. If your looking for a outdoor adventure you will find it here. You can climb aboard the St. Helena III Canal Boat, bike or hike along the Ohio and Erie Canal towpath trail, kayak or canoe.
