Japan Airlines to replace workers with humanoid robots
Japan Airlines is trialling humanoid robots for luggage handling due to rising visitor numbers and a drop in the number of people available to work. The two-year trial is a response to labour shortages caused by Japan’s shrinking population. There is still a long way to go until they are commercially deployable.
