20 Questions with Public Works Director

In recognition of National Public Works Week, we introduce to you our Director of Public Works Kirk Beaty! He's been with the City for nearly three years but came to us with over 30 years of experience in public works, civil engineering, and facility construction and maintenance. He holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University and is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer in Arizona. He is a member of various public works and engineering organizations and is the current President of the West Valley Water Association. A long-time West Valley resident, he is familiar with the area’s unique characteristics, including the projected fast growth in residential and commercial development among the pre-existing rural agricultural land uses.
