El Al Airlines Boeing 787-9 / Tel Aviv to New York JFK

After an exciting visit to Israel, it was time to fly back to the USA. I wanted to book the return on El Al's 747-400 but the entire flight would have been in the dark and filming would have been difficult. I chose to fly on their 787-9 and I am glad I did. I need to stress that despite my complaints about the lunch and the electronic window shades, this flight was very, very nice and quite enjoyable. The service was excellent and the flight attendants were very friendly and accommodating. The purser was so engaging and wanted to know if I enjoyed the 787 dreamliner. El Al is indeed a great airline and very safe as several viewers have mentioned in the comments. I would fly the airline again for sure ! I enjoyed the plane as well. It is beautiful inside and the engines are quiet. Over time I have grown very fond of the 787. It is a fantastic airplane.
