Under the hood, the Unit67 serves up three separate circuits—a tunable boost, a clever EQ section and a 1176-style compression circuit. Each circuit cascades into one another for maximum efficiency, with expert voicings for each. For example, the Boost circuit gives out a pulverizing 22.4dB of boost, but gives a 0dB point for unity gain with tonal enhancement in spades. You can use all 3 effects together or separately and get the tone and feel of a loud amp at any volume. An assortment of smaller knobs tailor the EQ and sustain of the compression circuit to your liking, and a pair of toggles shapes it even further, even letting you bypass the entire equalizer for raw boost and compression.
