The event brought together various stakeholders, including States, civil society and humanitarian actors, academics and legal professionals to exchange about the humanitarian response in the face of unilateral sanctions, over-compliance, implementation of sanctions of the UN Security Council, as well as principles and possible mechanisms to ensure the right to effective remedy and responsibility of different types of actors.
