Part 2 Abandoned brewery explore #urbexuk

Part 2 the site dates back to 1864 it was originally built by Bass which became the largest brewery in the world during the 1900s. The property has two Grade II listed Victorian brewhouses. The giant silver fermenter silos stand about 16 meters tall along the front. Molson Coors bought the property in the 2000s. A massive metal bridge connected the south site to the active north site until workers took it down in 2019. The brewing giant put the south site into care and maintenance in 2017 to cut costs. They fully emptied and decommissioned the facility in 2018. The site's iconic, four-story Grade II listed Victorian brewhouses are legally protected. They cannot be touched during demolition and are safely blocked off to be fully restored as part of the new neighborhood design. This will be turned into apartments. #frozenintime #urbanexplorers #vintagefinds ##history #exploremore #exploringhistory
